pupil voice

Helping you find out what students really think.

In our research and opinion surveys in education we have always put great emphasis on capturing what students think of key issues at their school.

It is more widely recognized now that students have insights and comments that can make a strong contribution to the smooth running of schools and to an improved culture of learning.

In our survey work we have spoken to many pupils at a range of school’s from primary to secondary and through to six formers. Typically we talk to groups of around 10 students from each year group without a teacher present.

They always appreciate the opportunity to talk freely to people who are independent of the school or college organisation.

We also use carefully designed questionnaires in our pupil voice work. We do not apply generic questionnaires but customise them to the context in each school or college.

Now that Pupil Voice is firmly on the agenda we believe that our independent approach is more valuable then ever in gathering what students really think.
