LSC - social footprints event signage

back to work examples

We have worked extensively over the last few years for the Birmingham and Solihull Learning and Skills Council and as part of that work were responsible for the look and feel and signage for a major event at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC).

Following initial consultation with the Learning and Skills Council-led Adjust the Balance Partnership, it was decided that the look and feel for the event needed its own branding concept, as it would run for two years. We created an identity that could be used alongside the partnership logo and other sponsor logos. We sourced images and designed graphics that were simple yet effective for the event and could also be used for the pre-publicity and on-going work after the event.

The project included liaising with the International Convention Centre and an event management company for main hall graphics, sound and lighting decisions, flash presentations, photography for the day to use in other publications, and all graphics during the conference.

We advised and implemented advertising for the event in The Guardian, The Birmingham Post and other media, as well as web site banners used on www.parliament.com and other sites.

We produced delegate packs for the day, which included a set of books that were produced for the project, and a special event book produced for the day on Corporate Social Responsibility, notebooks, pens, programmes, and project newsletters, which we wrote, designed and produced.
