The BKN Sixth Form Consortium - consisting of three sixth forms based in Kingsmead Technology College, Blake Valley Technology College and Norton Canes High School - recently commissioned us to re-brand them with a new identity and prospectus pack for students.
The identity design is based on a Gordian knot, a symbol that represents three different entities that combine to form one. Using a bold colour palette, each school is represented and stands alone while at the same time forming a single unit. The three strands that make up the logo are also used as a graphic device within the prospectus, linking text and photographs taken by Roy Peters.
